Hi. Love your site. I'm going to try the Chicken Tikka next weekend.
ReplyDeleteI have a question too. You may or may not have a recipe for this as I'm not sure if the proper name for it.
It is a condiment, bright green, spicy & a bit minty. At a restaurant I used to frequent, now closed, we just referred to it as Mint Sauce or Green Sauce.
Can you tell me what it is called?
Thanks, Lisa
awww..Thanks Lisa..huge smile (bordering on a grin)on my face :-)
DeleteIts called exactly that...Hari Chutney (Green Chutney)...made with either fresh coriander or fresh mint leaves or a mix of both with onion, garlic, raw mango or lemon juice, green chilies added in...at times with yogurt or peanuts added in...will do a quick post for you tomorrow with all options that I know of listed in
enjoy that chicken tikka and send me a pic of how it turned out..would love to show off :-)
hi, i like ur site, i want authentic recipe of punjabi mint sweet lassi. can u pls post it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sailaja..as far as i am aware punjabi sweet lassi doesn't have mint in it , the salty one does...the authentic punjabi sweet lassi is curd, sugar,a lil milk and ice churned together..then topped with malai...i hate the malai part, so make it without
