Hi, My name is Mona Malik...welcome to my kitchen!!
I always thought blogs were not for someone like me…Sure, I have more than enough to rant and rave about; but that is normally reserved for a select few J
I finally decided to step into this world when I thought of keeping a record of my recipes - the tried & tested ones, as well as the experiments that worked. So, basically, the things that I cook in my kitchen…in spite of my laziness or rather, because of it!!
I quit working almost 2 years back (exhausted, tired and bored)…and now after taking way too many vacations (and mini vacations) during this time, I am left with way too much time on my hands.

Like others
before me, I ideally should be armed with at least a basic knowledge of cameras
and photography OR, an expansive knowledge of food and its nuances, not to
forget the art of storytelling to get that hook…I possess none of those
talents!!! But then again, I never thought this would go beyond the 6 people that
I told about my foray into the blog world!!
When I started, I never imagined that anyone besides those that I bullied and threatened would come visiting…but since the stats show otherwise (a pause here to do a little celebratory jig!!)
I am thrilled and happy that you stopped by to see what’s cooking in my kitchen...thank you for dropping in, and, please do continue to do so...
If you decide to leave a comment, it would make me feel like a queen and not just a witch with a ladle in hand instead of a broom...Whether you like something, or, if you have tried something from here (I really should also add that “leave a comment even if you hate something” but my inflated sense of self-worth doesn’t allow me to do so J)
